PUBLIC ART ON DISPLAY
Making art accessible to everyone is part of PAM's overall goal. In an effort to expose the community to visual art, PAM has donated the following pieces to the City of Eustis for public display.
McCulloch's Ally Arch
Donated in November of 2000, this elaborate Iron Sculpture
created by artists Doug Hays, Penny Cash, and Kace
Montgomery now stands as the gateway between McCulloch's
alley and the historic downtown Eustis section. What was
once an unsightly alleyway, is now a delightful walkway
reminiscent of old world style Europe and a pleasing
transition from one area to another. This project was
sponsored by The City of Eustis and public
donations.
Mother Bear and Cub
This playful mother bear and cub sculpture resides on
Magnolia in the heart of historic Eustis downtown. The
large lava rock sculpture, donated in 2002, was designed by
sculptor Norman Tank. The piece is a welcome reminder of
Lake County's familiar Black Bears and a joyful expression
of the mother and child relationship.
Four Part Harmony
The beauty of diversity combined in a single movement is
art itself. Displayed on the corner of Magnolia and Eustis
street, this inventive Hays/Cash design combines Steel,
Copper, Silver and Brass into one classic piece that looms
over the center of downtown. Sponsored by PAM and supported
by the City of Eustis.
